爱心の野餐

I made a big picnic spread for my baby last weekend. We celebrated our anniversary (a bit belated though) at Sentosa :P

Menu for the day

Appetizer

Hee..are you drooling yet? :P We sat outside the Merlion because we wanted a shady spot and somewhere away from the throngs of people at the beach. After that, we headed down to the new Sentosa Luge (not exactly very new already). We agreed to try the go-cart next time instead, so we took the chairlift only.

It was very scary at first, when we were going uphill. My darling was obviously enjoying himself and taking pictures of everywhere, whereas I'm like holding on soooo tightly to the handrail and trying not to look down but my heart felt like it's gonna jump out. I kept saying it's scary, and other people were looking at us >.<

It got slightly better when we were moving in a straight line. Then, we started going downhill. (OMG!!) The slope was not as steep, but it's not the worst yet. We started on a very very steep downhill after a while and it was sooooo scary!!! Just when we were reaching the bottom, 2 girls and 1 guy around our age got onto a chairlift about 10 feet away from us and they were screaming so loudly when they went uphill. I felt better heh :X

After that, we just took bus around the island for awhile. It felt very good to be in the aircon bus when it's scorching outside. We headed down to Marina South for Jason's birthday celebration after that. It was fun just sitting down there and chatting and laughing at each other. (Remember the gui ling gao? LOL) We all went arcade after eating and spent some time there before heading for home.

Tiring day, but it was very fun!
