Yay I finally bother to update my Friendster lol. I'm just bored and happened to go in and saw the changes they have made (for the better la!).

Anyway, any suggestions for Maplestory guild name? Ideas included: InHisService, GodsGlory, GlorytoGod, PraiseHim/PraiseGod (I think taken? Not sure.), SocialHazard, Redeemed. I welcome all suggestions, preferably related to GOD :)

Rantings about Singaporeans and a PRC Chinese.

It's been like a hundred years since I last stepped into Raffles Place during the morning peak period. (It was real fun working with Jeanie at OCBC Bank last time, lots of wonderful memories. But we both hate the morning crowd in the MRT trains, the peak-hour jams, chope-ing of seats with tissue paper during lunchtime LOL.)

While I was walking to the MRT station, two different people stepped on my right shoe. At the SAME SPOT. What the hell. I was not walking slowly (I'm at the same pace as them, if not faster), I did not stop suddenly or slower my pace suddenly. I just glared back at the 1st guy. Oh, he's too busy listening to his dumb ipod to see where he was going. However, he did apologise profusely and went to the other end of the walkway away from me HAHA. I couldn't bother myself with the 2nd lady but I was real pissed inside. -.-"

And in the train, I saw this weird PRC Chinese guy sitting on the floor, in the middle of the train. And his legs were sprawled out in front of him. People had to literally lift their legs up to walk across or over his legs. Considering that it was the morning rush and the trains were very crowded, it was damn inconsiderate of him. And the worst thing? When the train was reaching his destination, he suddenly stood up and nearly hit the people behind him with his huge backpack. And he stretched himself with his hands up in the air. Like who wants to smell his armpits?! Thankfully, I was standing quite far from him. But I saw the lady standing beside him move away to another spot significantly. Tsk tsk.

And I got free music from the young punk standing next to me. It was NOT a compliment, and neither am I thanking him for that. Doesn't he realise nobody appreciates his music? It's just plain noisy, and he might as well have brought along his speakers instead of just using earphones. It defeated the purpose of his earphones.

Ok, done with my ranting. Why was I at Raffles Place? Oh yes, I went for breakfast at Burger King with my baby. I miss their croissan-wich (I practically ate that every other day at OCBC). Following which I went for my pre-employment check-up. There was not many people waiting, so I finished everything within 1 hour :) We did some walking around from Raffles Place to City Hall before meeting up with our friend. End of day lol (coz after that we both went home to sleep.)

Mood for Today: Overwhelmed

Read my entry title please. Yes, it was an overwhelming day. I went to XYZ (name of company withheld :P) for my job interview today. I was brought to the HR department where I waited for nearly 20 minutes. Out of the several people there, I was the only one interviewed by the HR manager personally. After the interview, I waited for about another 20-30 minutes more in another meeting room. Then came the department manager. She's a really warm and friendly lady, thus we had a good chat for a whole 40 minutes lolz. After that, she told me the department director wants to meet me after his meeting o.O I went for a quick toilet break (all the waiting's making me nervous LOL) and continued to wait for about 25 minutes more. Finally, I was brought to the director's office. After a quick chat (only about 5 minutes), he asked me to wait outside while he wrote his comments on my application form. When the department manager came back to me, I was offered the job immediately and they asked me to start work on Monday O.O It was pretty crazy, I must admit. For my entire life, it was the first time I was hired ON THE SPOT! I had to wait even for my diploma interview! So I must say, Hallelujah! :D Glory to God! But stupid (or is it, cautious and mature?) me told them the truth: I have another interview on Monday which I still want to try out before making my decision as it involves my full-time commitment and I did not want to rush into things. Anyway, they asked me to revert by next Tuesday whether I still want this job...I pray to God that I am able to think well this weekend and yeah..I need His guidance...seriously! Please help pray for me also >.< Thank you very much.

So You Think You Can Dance

Allison is out. :'( I will really miss watching her and seeing her smile. Although she's only 18, she is mature and really talented. But like what my baby said: even if she's not out this week, she'll be out next week (because it's not a LIVE show and we both know who the top 4 in the finals are already lolz).

This brings me back to the upcoming Dance Floor. I wonder if Singaporeans will be as good compared to those in SYTYCD, in terms of dancing skills and versatility in dance styles, personality and confidence level. Take our other talent show Project Superstar for example. They look like school children performing in the school hall (okay, some.) It could be the environment we are brought up in, or it could be the size of the stage XD

Nonetheless, I am looking forward to Dance Floor. I hope it doesn't make me boycott the programme after the 1st episode.
