This is dedicated to my baby. dum spiro, ti amo. Forever and ever.

The youths went to Sentosa last Sunday. It was really tiring, but fun! XD There were some frustration among us, but it all turned out ok in the end. There was time-wasting at HarbourFront, thus we couldn't have more time there. We played a number of games, of which my favourite had to be the piggyback ride. Hee, it was funny when Richard said I could come down but I didn't want to XP (needless to say, the poor guy who had to piggyback me was my baby haha) But it was tough :( neither team scored any points for that game.
Hope to have more of these in future :) real good bonding!
I've been trying to blog several times, but I always couldn't even log in, hence the long delay -.-" Anyway, please pardon me if I talk incoherently. I'm just trying to remember everything I wanted to say. The following are not in order XD
1. Storm In A Fishbowl
Yes, it was wonderful! You can really see God at work during the entire production, and even more on the day of the performance. Everything went really well and the play carried a very strong and inspiring message. I am just 1 out of 600-odd people who were touched that night :)
2. Fare Revision for Taxis
My first reaction: WTH -.-" For a taxi lover like me, this was a big kick in my stomach. The day after the fare revision, I could see the effect. I used to wait like mad during the morning peak hours for a cab at the side road near my block, jostling with many other office people. (By the way, I was just walking past that road, not waiting for a cab.) Nobody was waiting for taxis there, and there were lots of available taxis passing by. I am pretty sure none of the taxi drivers in Singapore welcome this revision - for one thing, it does not mean additional income into their pockets. Of course, I have since 'forgotten' about this and took taxis several times already lolz (I'm trying to control myself to taking one only during life-and-death situations).
3. Going to the beach
I feel fat. I don't know whether I want to join the youths or not. -.-"
4. Conduct of Primary School Kids Part 2
I was carrying lots of things and pulling a flip chart board down a slope a few days ago. I didn't know the slope was so steep until the board could just fall on me. Well, it did. It hit me on the head and I just muttered an 'Ouch!' loud enough for the kids nearby to hear. There was an 'Oh my God!', but nobody came to help. They just kept staring until I struggled and got the board up myself. This is the kind of attitude our local schools have nurtured.
I just heard a colleague telling me that something happened in her computer class yesterday. Each kid was given a digital camera and sent all around the school to take photos. The objective was to familiarise them with the camera functions and how to operate one. But one boy just kept running after his female classmates and trying to take pictures below their skirts (in other words, trying to take upskirt pictures). What the hell. It was such a disgusting act for such a young boy.
And not long after that, another kid was given a nice black name in the offences book and given one hell of a scolding by the discipline master. Offence: passing pornographic websites URL all around his class to his friends. He claimed his secondary school friend gave him the URL. -.-" Lame. Kids nowadays. Sigh.
5. I went for high tea buffet at Ellenborough Market Cafe at Merchant Court Hotel! It was yummy! :D And very reasonably priced. Hee, enjoyed the food and his company XP
Think that's all for now. There should be more, but I've probably forgotten =/
Sometimes, I feel like I'm more of a personal assistant and administrative girl here. Tasks that are not covered in my job scope were thrown to me on top of my own duties. And they came wrapped up with tight deadlines. -.-" I really dislike his way of working. Bleahz. And I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this way.
I'm going to St Andrew's Cathedral to watch a play this Friday, put up by their youths. Anyone interested? I don't really know the details and price (I can check for you if you're keen to go), but it's about reaching out to non-Christians. :)
It's mid July already, time passes by so fast. In just a few more months, I'll be out of here (hopefully). Happy Birthday to Felicia, my dearest Scrat! :D Continue to be a great leader under God's blessings and love~ hope to meet up with you soon too hee ^^
Your Love Number is 1
You tend to be a stubborn lover, holding your ground in every argumentYou take your time falling in love. You aren't the type to lose perspective. You are loyal (to a fault), and you require the same loyalty in your sweetheart. At your best, you are a wise and inspiring partner - who sticks around.
What Is Your Love Number?
I didn't blog much for the last few days. I've seen a few changes to friends' blogs in terms of URL. Hmm, why do people keep changing their blogs when the content is still the same? Or was it not a change of environment and attitude in the first place? =/ I really wonder.
What's up in my life? I have been spending more time with my family, which is good. And my family and relatives got to interact with my darling more :D I'm glad he's such an outgoing and cheerful person, and everyone can talk to him easily hee.
I watched Cars a couple of weeks ago, and I watched Superman Returns last night. Cars was very cute and enjoyable (my favourite is Guido, the small one which can change tires in 2.5 seconds lolz). Superman totally blew me away, because I didn't expect so much. The movie was digital, which meant the sound and effects rock XP. I personally feel that it's better than X Men 3. Anyway, for those who haven't catch Superman, go watch now! Quite a number of upcoming movies in July that I want to watch: Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lake House, Lady In The Water (it seems interesting, but can skip if I have no $$), and this korean movie with Choi Ji Woo as the female lead (her character died in the end again -.-).
Today is Youth Day, and the school has less than 10 people (including security guards and school attendants). And I have to stay in the general office and answer phone calls and open door for others. I hate this -.-"
