This is dedicated to my baby. dum spiro, ti amo. Forever and ever.

Last Saturday, me and my darling baby went to watch Ice Age 2 at the new Cathay Cineplex. As it was the opening weekend for Ice Age 2, we got to watch at The Grand Cathay! It was really huge, the seats were very comfortable (its one of their plus points), and the interior decor and lightings and sound totally rock! The food was unique too lolz. When we went to the snacks booth, to our amazement, there were even things like fish and chips, sandwiches, pastas and desserts being served. We were just wondering how can people eat main courses and pastas while watching a movie in a pitch-black theatre? The couple before us ordered fish and chips. It came in a neatly packed box (my baby said it looked exactly like combat rations packaging? LOL) and if your food could only be ready at a later time, they will serve it to your seat. Yes, to your seat! My baby was quite skeptical about this, but nonetheless, we told them our seats and theatre. Aiya, the most if the food never come, just treat it as donation to them lolz. Anywayz, we ordered the usual popcorn combo and a bacon and cheese melt hotdog. The hotdog really came served up to our seats for us. I must say their staff service are really good so far :D
The show itself was very entertaining too (but the bad creatures were scary-looking). I was just telling him that near the ending of the show, there were quite a number of Christian reference (such as the Noah's Ark lookalike, the flooding and only animals in 'Noah's Ark' survived, how Scrat tried to save them but fell to his death (Jesus?), how Scrat went to heaven). And Sid is so stupidly cute!! XP
The previews shown before the movie were all animations. Goodness, I can feel my money flying away already >.< hee..
Something very very bad happened at night that day. I don't wish to remember it... =/
