The End of a Long Holiday

Dear friends, it seems like I am not going to keep my promise. There won't be any new blog layout or mass photo uploads because I don't have the time to do it. If possible, I'll gladly show you the pictures from my laptop!

Time flies so fast when you're enjoying and slacking. Basically, that's what I've been doing for my holidays (it's great when you don't have to go back to school and still get paid haha). After I came back from Hong Kong, it was rest and more rest since I was down with the flu. And before I knew it, the endless partying came. It started with the youth camp, followed by Christmas parties and celebrations, and a year-end party coming up.

I finally stayed long enough in school today to tidy up my table. And I saw a wooden keychain hidden in a corner - a gift bought by my colleague when he went to HK. It made me so guilty because we had already agreed not to buy anything for each other! =/ Anyway, today is also the fateful day we receive our new deployment for next year. I'm taking all EMS (English, Maths and Science) in the morning session. Ahh, I have to forcefully adjust my body clock now.

Although it was not exactly everything I expected, I am still thankful that during my short stay in this school, I had the opportunities that most people did not have. Dear God, I give thanks to You for all the doors You had opened for me:

I had the chance of working in the PM session, and now the AM session.
I went from teacher aide to relief teacher to contract teacher very quickly :) (more money).
I have extremely helpful and wonderful colleagues, mentors, leaders and friends.
I am exposed to different subjects although I am not officially trained.
I took on a form class on my own.
I am taking on duties in a committee and a CCA.

School is going to start soon, and it's time for me to get started on my lesson preparation and administration duties. I will end the post with two photos from HK.

1. To grow closer to God and my loved ones.
2. To study hard and hit at least 4 GPA.
3. To multi-task as much as possible, in terms of juggling studies and CCAs.
4. To see a healthy bank account.
5. To not be late for school and have to end up taking a cab.
